Active Healthcare Solutions , specifically Pat Waldron was a gift to us for the last year of my Mom’s life. Pat was hired as an advocate because we live far away and because my mom was elderly and blind. She had round the clock care which Pat oversaw. She assisted with medication prep, Dr appointments and organization of every task you can imagine. She oversaw the aids and care of moms general health, all while treating her with complete dignity. If 5 stars represent the best service, I give Cindy Munns, R.N. an infinitesimal amount of solid gold ones! She is absolutely the best (with this comment coming from a demanding, micromanager (!) who utilized many of Cindy’s services on a weekly basis)! I could write a very long essay on how Cindy assisted our family, but will touch on highlights. Our relative went from the hospital to rehab where she declined significantly. In February of 2017 I hired Active Healthcare Solutions to help us transition mom from her townhome to assisted living, as mom was no longer able to fully care for herself. During the 4 years since then we have learned you really can not assume that even the most perfect memory care / assisted living facility has the expertise or ability to fully care for a parent that can no longer fully care for herself.
