The Active Energies team installed solar on our house in Summit County in October last year. We were very satisfied with the service and attention to detail from the get-go. All of the staff, from the owner Rich, to the office staff and the teams that did the installation, are professional, honest and do quality work. They ensured we received all the rebates and tax credits we were eligible for. We highly recommend this company.
I would provide a five star rating with a small improvement in design for snow country. In Summit County we receive an average of 265 inches per year. There is so much deflection ( bending of the panels) that the snow hangs up a doesn’t slide off. They use a two rail/rack system supporting the panels and they should be using three rails per panel to reduce the amount of deflection. Excellent customer service. Very responsive. They installed 36 solar panels on my home in Silverthorne and expedited the schedule to finish before the end of the year. The system has been running for more than a year with no problems.
Very professional, timely, detailed oriented. Great to deal with. I would definitely recommend. Did two projects with them. Solar and then added batterie backup, all went smoothly because of their preparation.
