Very chill place with quality cuts and styles for a decent price.
I’ve been coming to Active Barbers since 2018, and they’ve always done right by me. Chino is my barber and he’s funny, consistent and is familiar with cutting black 4c hair(my hair type). The owner, Sal, has a great presence and also has finesse with the clippers. Active Barbers became a pillar in the community during Covid, by adjusting to our health climate by doing house calls, and enforcing mask in-shop, which kept a lot of people safe. I walked in for a haircut with my son, asked I there was space Chino directed me to Alex. I showed ALEX a picture of exactly what I wanted and confirmed I wanted a 0 taper fade. I would have appreciated him telling me he doesn’t know how to do that and I could have walked out. He rushed as soon as his appointment walked in and left my son with a cut on the back of his head and incomplete haircut.
