In December, I started to work with Dr. Jason Goncalves for knee and hip pain I experienced after carrying my younger son for a longer period of time. Jason Goncalves of Activcore PT has been amazing. As a competitive saber fencer, I have had my share of surgeries. In 2023 I had my right radial ulnar ligament reattached and in 2024 I had my left shoulder replaced. Jason patiently worked me back into "fighting shape" both times. The net results: 5 medals in 2023 and 4 medals in 2024 PLUS a Gold Medal in Saber for TEAM USA at the 2024 Pan American Veterans Championships in Costa Rica (less than 5 months post-shoulder replacement). Jason is my go-to guy for recovery.
Highly recommended! I saw Dr Jason Goncalves for some sports/age induced shoulder injury and we were able to move very quickly from pain management and recovery to strength exercise phase. Dr Jason is extremely knowledgeable and professional, pleasure to work with. While all PT ultimately provides some results, ActiveCore does it more efficiently by utilizing suspension-based Redcord system that work not only on large muscle groups but also on smaller 'stabilizer' muscles that often get neglected. Jason is a pleasure to work with. He explains things in detail and in a way an ordinary person can relate. He is very knowledgeable about the anatomy and physiology of the body. The red cord process and keeping up with his recommended home exercises cut my recovery time to get back to my active life-style quicker and stronger. I agree. He truly deserves 6 stars!!!!
I first saw Dr. Jason Goncalves in 2017 for knee problems, and he's the reason I can run today! He is professional, knowledgeable, and personable. I highly recommend setting up an appointment.
