In December, I started to work with Dr. Jason Goncalves for knee and hip pain I experienced after carrying my younger son for a longer period of time. Within only a few sessions I started to feel relief and felt great after treatment. Later, I was back to my regular exercise of yoga and jogging. I finished my treatment stronger than when I started. Jason Goncalves of Activcore PT has been amazing. As a competitive saber fencer, I have had my share of surgeries. In 2023 I had my right radial ulnar ligament reattached and in 2024 I had my left shoulder replaced. Jason patiently worked me back into "fighting shape" both times. The net results: 5 medals in 2023 and 4 medals in 2024 PLUS a Gold Medal in Saber for TEAM USA at the 2024 Pan American Veterans Championships in Costa Rica (less than 5 months post-shoulder replacement). Jason is my go-to guy for recovery.
