Activ Auto Repair/Motorsports installed a new radio in my open fishing boat. It is true that I had approved replacing the old, inoperative radio with an equivalent one. Being a customer and not an expert, I had no idea that the radio was not approved for marine use. I picked up the boat, paid the bill, and went fishing. These folks worked quickly to solve my mechanical problem to my side-by-side. They did a nice job and explained in writing and in pictures what problems they located and asked for permission to fix. I will continue to take my business to Active Power Sports
Took my Harley in to fix The suspension on it and put rear brakes on it. I paid $700 and the suspension is not fixed. I can’t air up my suspension on the air ride system on my bike and the back brake pads were just put on and the brakes don’t even work I can push them in the calipers. Don’t even close totally bad, bad work and way overpriced. They just seen it expensive looking Harley and try to take a full advantage of me.
This place is a joke. They took a few minutes to check my brakes, quoted me an outrageous price and then charged me a $150 diagnostic fee, which wouldn't have gone towards the repair had I done it. They have a sheet of paper at the desk that refers to a diagnostic fee, but NEVER ONCE when speaking to them did they ever mention that they would charge me $150 to look at my brakes. I NEVER would have agreed to that.
