We found Action Cabinetry and Millwork through a facebook group, Bellmore parents after searching for someone who could replace a poorly done installation by another company. After reading the numerous rave reviews and checking out their instagram: @action_cabinetry I was fairly confident Doug would help us create the entertainment center look we wanted. My husband and I were working on a project to add custom built ins for our living room. As soon as we met with Doug you could tell that he is an expert carpenter and really knows what he is doing. I cannot tell you how pleased we are with how the project turned out. Doug is not only extremely knowledgeable but meticulous down to every detail. Doug was absolutely great to work with and so good at helping our vision for built ins come to life. He was very thorough with his measurements and really paid attention to detail. The quality of the work is amazing and we get so many compliments on our new builtins. Anyone that is looking for custom cabinetry needs to contact Doug.
Doug is a master craftsman. We were fortunate to meet Doug and work with him on multiple projects in our home. He helped us maximize space and functionality, all while providing an aesthetically pleasing product. We already have more projects in mind for Doug and look forward to working with him again!
If I could give 1 Star I would. Doug does not stand behind his work. He built aquarium cabinetry for us, and upcharged us specifically for a special painting process becuase of teh moisture. The job looked great months 1 and 2 and thankfully I didnt leave him a positive review like he asked because starting Month 3, the cabinets started warping and the paint is peeling. He does not answer or return phone calls and his voicemail is always full. My advice is to stay away.
