I was happily surprised that Action Bearing sells to the public. I needed just two bearings to fix my washing machine. The gentleman who took my call was very generous with his time and knowledge. I asked about brands they carried and he went through a list of the top five brands they sell in order of price and quality. Since I am fixing a washing machine and not highly precise aerospace equipment, he recommended the least expensive but quality brand. Henry saved me on a Saturday when EVERYONE else was closed. His understanding of customer service is a lost art today. I’ll be taking my parts business to him from now on.

In a pinch for an oil seal that was NO WHERE to be found in New England, we were referred to Action Bearing Company on the off-chance they would have two oil seals that are hard to find. They were closed, but have an answering service. Steve Greene returned my call in minutes, reopened the store (two hours after they closed) and allowed us to come pick up! I’m amazed at their service, knowledge and care! They have a true “good ole boys” customer service and actually care! Thank you so very much!

Saturday hours are by appointment. I was lucky enough to catch them there arriving for another Saturday appointment just by chance. Excellent service and pricing. I will be making an appointment anytime I need bearings and seals.
