I needed an estimate to repair my AC ducts - an minor issue found during a home inspection. They charged me $109 to come out for the estimate. 5 days later (even with a reminder phone call and a promise the owner was working on it) I still didn't receive the estimate to do the work. Since I was on a 10-day deadline I requested a refund so I could quickly find another company to do the job. They agreed to reimburse me, but could only do it when Accounting was in the office.
