Went there to see Dr Jain with enthusiasm and high hopes. The receptionist was nice and polite. I was then told that a different doctor (I assume registrar) would just get some basics prior to seeing Dr Jain. This registrar listened to my concerns and spoke to the doctor less than 3 minutes. When he came back he said that I wouldn't see the Dr as he's relayed all my 25 minutes worth of explanation and circumstances and history and recommend some over the counter topical application treatment. Absolutely shocking attention and treatment. Dr Jain increased my ketamine treatment twice which caused me to khole twice. Vomiting , hallucinate , panic, feel like I was dying. . No bed side manner, no care. Never again. Have this in Sydney and never have had this happen. Stayed in Canberra so I didn’t have to travel.
My husband saw this man for severe back pain. He did a surgery to deaden a nerve which made absolutely no difference. When he woke from the surgery he was screaming with pain and the nursing staff were frantic.Dr Jain said he did the wrong nerve and his only suggestion was to take a different pain medication which also did nothing to help. All this cost $1500.
I am writing to express my concerns regarding the conduct of Dr Saba Javed. I have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder by her, which I believe is incorrect. I have raised serious concerns about her mental state, which I believe is impacting her ability to diagnose patients and practice as a psychiatrist. I have therefore filed a report with APRAH for her mental state to be examined by the chief psychiatrist and for her to be deemed unfit to practice.
