Our floors were a mismatch of three different materials from past owners. They pulled it all and put down one consistent floor across the main level. Looks like a whole different house now, so much more cohesive.
We had a good bit of the main floor remodeled and it changed how the whole house feels. They opened up the kitchen into the living area and redid the flooring throughout. What I appreciated was how they mapped the whole thing out before starting so we knew what each week would bring. The early meetings were relaxed and they gave honest input on what was worth doing and what wasn't. Work moved along steadily and the finished space feels open and modern now. Decent folks to work with on something this involved.

finished basement project wrapped up about three weeks ago and we are still walking down there just to look at it. it had been a half framed mess from the previous owner, some studs up, no insulation, rough concrete floor with cracks running across it. got started on this basement reno in late winter after living with an unfinished space for six years. got three bids, Cordes was the middle one but their guy actually sketched a layout on the spot. design and permits took about a month, demo and framing another three weeks, then drywall, flooring, trim, paint. small wet bar in the corner and a half bath got tile floors. they kept the timeline within a week of what they originally said which i didn't expect from a remodel
