I'm going to piggyback off of Jen Rawlings review. Our family has been coming to Acropolis Gyros since the early 80s when Ava built a Missoula icon with her iconic recipes from Greece. Acropolis has been known for their unique Tzatziki sauce recipe that has been passed down from one owner to the next with even Elizabeth still using these recipes up until 2025. Despite the reviews this place is the best gyro shop in Missoula. Only complaints are their operating hours and after they changed ownership prices raised slightly. Ambrosia is more of a classic gyro take and the greek pastry shop has two locations I’ve only been to one of them but I stand firmly that Acropolis is the best here. Just don’t order take out I guess?
New owner cant handle running the business properly. Update: EXTREMELY slow. Most expensive gyro place in town. I wouldn't bother. Go to #1 Gyros on Orange or at the mall; They have literally been the best for over three decades.
