I came to this program after escaping domestic violence and homelessness. I needed safety, support, and a place to begin healing with my child. Unfortunately, what I experienced was far from that. The main case manager, Cheryl, often spoke to me in a rude, dismissive, and manipulative way. When I asked for support or offered suggestions, she would gaslight me and twist my words. Was really nice on the phone, but after telling her all my info including some of the trauma I've endured in order to be able to stay, I got an email saying they dont have "availability to assist me or my family at this time" and I was confused because why did I even have to have a phone call if there's no availability? It was like a failed interview. Be weary if you need any type of help here, you're life's story may not be good enough to get in.
Don't let these people fool you into thinking they are there for you! I failed one room inspection and recently passed this one and they called cps on me! I move out soon thank God! They barely help when you ask for it and don't care if your pregnant you still have to do 3 damn chores! Fully regret moving in here! ALSO THE NEW HOUSE MANGER NIT PICKS ON EVERY LITTLE THING. SHE HAS BEEN ON MY BACK SINCE SHE STARTED AND ALL THE RESIDENTS IN THE HOUSE HATE HER. I LITERALLY AM NOT THE ONLY ONE.
