I typically only write positive reviews!! But I am very disappointed by how I was treated by this vet. I simply needed to switch pharmacies, and received a phone call where I was yelled at by the doctor. I switched to Pelican Rapids Animal Hospital and already have had a much better experience!
This vet was the worst customer experience I have seen in my life. The veterinarian is RUDE beyond belief. Yelling at his elderly clients & bringing them to tears. He literally screamed at this client (who was already visibly stressed/worried about her dog who was visibly in pain) and here the vet is yelling at HER about weighing her dog—she asked do I just put my dog on the plate? We have been so fortunate to have used the services of Acorn Vet for a number of years. The staff is so kind and caring and always manages to exhibit professionalism and compassion for our pet. Over a year ago our elderly German Shorthair suffered from mobility issues in his hind legs. We had to carry him which was quite a task.
