Thumbs UP for Acorn I called several companies for quotes on adding insulation to my attic. Most gave either ridiculously high or incredibly low quotes over the phone. Acorn gave me a rough estimate that sounded right in the ball park. Then they came out and examined the whole attic (yeah, walked from one end to the other). Matt gave me his recommendations and wrote out the actual estimate on the spot. I made an appointment and he showed up on time. When the work was done he invited me up to inspect it. not a good job I had these guys out to my home to fix my insulation issues last year, well they recomended just blowing in more fiberglass insulation, towards the end of last year we were continuing to have the same Ice dam issues so we had another company out to check our attic this year we came to realize their were many things that were missed such as ventilation issues and large bypass issues. Very satisfied customer with Acorn Insulations! We chose acorn insulation because of the excellent reviews they had received from family and friends of ours. Great service. I found these guys on craigslist, and had them insulate my attic. It took them a little over half of the day. I haven't seen my utility bill yet, but I was impressed, as they were thorough, and left the place real clean.
