This resort offers great amenities for the family. We actually stayed in our RV, in site#3. The site was shady. We enjoyed the beach! In our opinion which we found it to be better than the beach at Brindley's. The Walter’s family are a great host. Plenty of activities for kids and adults. The Loaded Loon bar & grill is a great addition. Food and drinks were up to par. We chose Acorn because they have RV sites and accommodated pets. I would recommend this resort to anyone looking to stay on Leech Lake.
Very disappointing. The side (salad) came after the dinner-nope dont want it. The burger was not cooked through. And came on bread thatt only covered 1/4th of it. It was a patty melt, and there was one small onion on it!! I really wanted a beer with it but nobody came by AND we were sitting at the bar. NOT great
We had a wonderful time at Acorn Hill resort. everything we needed and more. Definitely coming back!
Quaint basic cabins with new showers (great water pressure and lots of hot water). Convenient playground and indoor pool so it’s a good choice for families with children of a variety of ages. It’s a nice lake but we didn’t have good luck fishing.
We had such a wonderful stay at Acorn Hill Resort! The cabins were incredibly roomy and comfortable -perfect for relaxing after a day on the lake. Everything was clean, well-kept, and clearly cared for with pride. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality.
