Brought the family for a fun summer fishing trip. Was excellent. If you like to fish and want the kids to have fun, this is the place. In and out service, bait on site, cleanest fish house around. Plus excellent beach and toys with an indoor pool if needed. Bar and restaurant was perfect. Loved the food and outdoor patio. They also host professional guides on Wednesday at the pavilion to tell you what the bite is like and how/where to go...for free. Just an all around outstanding experience...and we'll be back for sure
Absolutely STUNNING resort, both Acorn Hill and neighboring Brindleys. My family has been vacationing in Walker for five decades, and this is by far the most beautiful resort we’ve stayed at, both the grounds and the clean, well-kept cabins. The owners and staff are so kind and friendly. I wish I’d known about this gem years ago! Highly recommend!
The amenities were more than your average lodge with a bar and restaurant on site. The Cabins and grounds were clean and well organized. The staff is friendly and helpful! Our family Had a wonderful vacation. We will be back.
By boat or car. By boat can be tricky docking if it's a breezy day. Haven't stayed there, but stopped in for lunch and happy hour. The people running that resort are great!
