We went out to our boat lift to make sure everything was top notch at the beginning of the season, before we put our boat on it. Unfortunately, nothing was working, and we let Kyle know we could not put the boat in the water today. My husband and I were having a meal at their restaurant on the resort, discussing what we were going to do, when Kyle, who is the resort owner, called my husband to say he walked out to the boat lift and tested the batteries for us. Our rental was Cabin #11, was more than enough room for 5 guys. Had all our basic needs. Kyle the owner/manager was excellent . The people there were friendly. The food at their restaurant was excellent!! The pan sear walleye 10/10. All the fried apps , you got to try them all. Thank You Acorn Hills!
Acorn Hill is great! Me and my family were up over Memorial weekend even though they were very busy Kyle, Jeff, and the rest of the staff work tirelessly make an unforgettable experience for everyone staying!
Great place to take your family. Fun times boating, fishing, and hiking. Loaded Loon nice place to eat and hang out. Great staff.
Throwing the reg book at your guests and accusing them of being over their bag/possession limit of crappies isn’t good business. My dad, son, and I came in to clean our 6 crappies, when owner Jeff rudely comes out flustered accusing us of being over our limit. He didn’t even look in our bucket. We had 6 crappies. 9 under our limit. He says “what about yesterday!?” Bag and possession limit is the same on Leech, but our friend took his limit home the day before and we ate ours.
