Friendly local shop for Volvo in Berkeley. Maintenance and battery replacement performed as expected. Car performing great.
First visit, with an appointment. After discussing my Subaru and concerns we decided to check the head gasket and check for any codes. It was nice to pay for peace of mind, not an arm and a leg. I'll be keeping this place in mind for upcoming CVT service and other services.
They're fast with fair prices and good service. Mr. Ackerman is also a pleasant, responsive, and straight-dealing guy. I have been there 3 times in 4 years, and I will always use this shop and recommend it to friends.
My first time at Ackerman’s service, after reading good reviews! Great experience all around. Bruce took great care of my used Subaru Crosstrek, it needed a 90.000 miles service. I dropped the car off in the morning and quickly got it back early afternoon. Very nice place! I will come back for future repairs and services.
