We recently had Ackerman & Son’s refinish our dining room table, and the results are absolutely stunning. My parents obtained an antique, Swiss, hand carved music chair when they lived in England after WWII. As long as I remember, that chair sat in a corner with a broken leg and damage to the wood on the seat. When we moved my mom out of her house, we had the living room painted and unfortunately paint was sprayed on it. It was dull, broken and just sad. I trusted these folks with my great grandparents corner chair. It was 100 years old and in need of refinishing and reappolstered. Lots of places do one or three other but this place did an AWESOME job on both. They were able to use the fabric I purchased in Scotland of my Grandfather's family tartan. The refinished wood looks new and the plaid of the tartan is lined up and matched perfectly. I will definitely use Ackerman & Sons again
Had someone come out to give me an estimate for my antique pool table. They came on a Friday and said I should see something by Tuesday. It’s now 8 days past that Tuesday, I’ve called 3 times asking for an update. Each time I’ve been told they’ll check on it and give me a call back and still nothing. I had an old office desk chair that was falling apart altogether so I took it to Ackerman & Sons and now it looks and feels amazing. They gave it new stitching, padding, fixed up the legs, and now it's one of a kind. Definitely worth it.
