Beware! Dr. Acker is absolutely wonderful but his practice staff is less than. As a father that prides myself on my children's development as well as the wellbeing of my children, I find it horrendous that someone at this practice call DCF on me for neglect when my child was DENIED an appointment due to insufficient health insurance! I was in contact with the office at all times about the pending insurance through my job that offered open enrollment in November and was to be effective January 1st 2026. Dr Acker is phenomenal, and ALWAYS makes us feel comfortable and explains everything in a detailed manner. We feel very blessed to have him as our daughters pediatrician.
Dr. Acker has been the Pediatrician for my two children since the day they were born and he continues to be. He is fantastic, caring and an all around good doctor. I can't say enough good things about him and his practice. I highly recommend.
