RecommendedAmazing organization and community if talented athletes. it's changed my life as a Disabled runner . I run with a cane. I couldn't do that before I got to Achillies NYC Chapter.
Love these peeps! Achilles is the bomb. These athletes do more for us than we do for them.
You see the joy and passion of those who are challenging themselves as they step out of their comfort zone. We all need to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. Achilles makes these achievements possible.
I would not be able to run any races without Achilles. You’re like a second family to me. So many memories. So many wonderful adventures.
If you have a disability and looking to get back into working out while facing no judgment this is the organization for you. If you are able body and want to help those with disabilities while making new friends and family you need to check this foundation out
Hope you do not enrich a horrible person who mocks the disabled.
I would hope that this organization would understand how hurtful it is to have a community mocked and bullied by our current President. Please stop associating with this cruel man and show you really support those you claim to support.
While I appreciate all the hard work Achilles International has done to enable people with disabilities to participate in mainstream athletics, I just can't fathom why as an organization an event would be held at a facility owned and operated by a person who has mocked people with disabilities on the national stage. And shows a deep disrespect for people of color. I will be reviewing my future donations to Achilles International.
