I bought a house 8 months ago. The builder is really slow to correct defects. Most were identified in the inspection and he claims to have fixed. After much slowness and some defects not being corrected, I opened a ticket with ACES. about all they've done so far is to cite the crappy legal agreement and say I need to notify the builder and try to work it out with him. The builder in my situation refuses to pay for foundation repairs. Just know ACES is only a remediation service, not a true warranty. Emails are very slowly answered and although they respond eventually, the process was just a waste of our time. Be warned the policy is basically worthless if your builder chooses not to pay. Small claims Court is our only alternative for compensation.

Fake service. The phone is never answered and email goes unread.

I would not recommend them. They do not live up to the name and I highly regret using them for my build. Will look elsewhere next time.

Not helpfulish. The builder came out and only addressed the cracks all over the house by caulking/cover paint, but the house is only 5 months and the cracks reappeared all around the house (can feel cold outside air coming in on outside walls), front and back doors won't shut properly, no-slip paint on handicap ramp still peeling, nails/ staples still sticking out, wires on wellbox exposed, never fixed entrance gates back the way they were after tearing down and running over, never repaied holes in fencing that was cut throu... read more
