This team subcontracted out the job, while the team that did the work was professional, their were several issues working with ACE including closing out the project, getting rebate paperwork signed off and ultimately getting inspection and permit closed. I would not hire them again.
Ace Solar was outstanding to work with when they did the solar installation on the roof of my house back in 2022. After the installation, there was a small issue with storm water leaking into the ceiling, but they came back and fixed it almost immediately. Fast forward to 2025 and we started to notice some storm water leaking through the roof again directly below where the solar panels are. Update: Received call back with apologies. The technicians were great in fixing an issue with one of my panels that was installed a few years ago; however, the office staff are horrible. I have emailed and left messages in regards to my bill and no one can give me the common courtesy to return a phone call. The way they “charge” for service fees is misleading to the customer.
The inverter was down for about 45 days without sending any error messages, and I lost solar generation at this time. When I contacted Ace solar and asked them who is responsible for the inverter malfunction I got no support whatsoever. Definitely I will not recommend Ace solar since they do not care about customers after installation they got paid already, and they do not assume responsibility of their equipment. So frustrated with them. Installed 10.22 kWp system over 6 years ago. Since then it’s malfunctioned 4 times (replaced inverter 3 times) and been out of service for over 6 months cumulatively. Despite the 20 year warranty saying they make repairs at their sole expense, they now claim they are entitled to charge a $750 diagnostic fee before making repairs.
