Our insurance claim was to be handled by Paul Hobbs from start to finish (per discussion and contract). Replacement of roof, drywall, hiring out flooring, painting, etc. I trusted Paul to finish the job. Not only did he not complete the job, but he has refused to remain in contact with me or remedy the situation. Roof began leaking around a vent…..I made several attempts to call Paul and he finally answered and said he would come and look at it for me then….GHOSTED ME I haven’t heard from him in weeks. now I’m calling other contractors. Every contractor says I should contact Ace Roofing they would probably come back and repair this at no cost. After fighting to keep water out of my house for weeks I’m drained .Now I’m gonna have to pay to have it fixed I would not recommend this company!!
I made the mistake of hiring Paul four years ago to fix what I thought seemed to be a pretty straightforward roof leak. Went ahead and paid to redrywall my entire ceiling and sure enough the water damage slowly reappeared. Made the mistake of hiring Paul yet again to fix the issue and he was impossible to get a hold of for months, and then finally realized $900 later he had misassessed the issue and had the nerve to give another quote. This company replaced the roof on a home I recently purchased. They did not do a quality job in my opinion, but even more than that, I was assured by “Paul” several times before the closing on the home that they would return to complete work for me which was to vent the bathroom exhaust through the roof. After multiple attempts through email, voicemail and text, they not only never have completed the work, but don’t have the decency or professionalism as a company to respond. I would never recommend this company!
