Absolutely disaster. Ordered all wheel drive with snow chains. As going skiing. Get to mountain 2wd and no chains. Ring service desk 20 mins with foreigner that can't find us on system and can understand the number plate. Rung depot in queenstown. Have to leave a message. No reply. Got down from mountain with help of ski boys. Told front desk when we dropped car back, all the excuses in the world. Oh the manager will call you 🙄. Radio silence since then. Staff and car were fine for our ski trip June 2025 BUT our car was damaged by a 3rd party who gave his details BUT ACE/Hertz still decided to take $6000 out of my credit card without my permission so BEWARE. They should have pursued the costs with the 3rd party’s insurer and now 2 months later that insurer still has not received an invoice
車況普通，這次在南島租的KIA Carnival 沒有在北島另一家租的同款車新跟乾淨，雖然路上使用都正常，但有一側電動門在第二天就無法正常關閉，導致後來旅途上都要手動關門。機場外圍接送較麻煩，且他們網站/溝通信件中推廣大家使用的機場接送APP沒什麼用，當初在基督城ACE要來機場接我的駕駛根本沒把聯繫用的手機/機器帶在車上，所以透過APP聯繫也沒回應，車子也顯示沒出發，導致多花了些時間。 但也可能是這樣，所以我這次太訂車，只剩他們跟另外一家在我要的日期有異地還車的大車可以租。Queens town ace 的員工和善且有耐心。
Ace Rentals are awesome! Fantastic customer service from pick up at the airport all the way till drop off. At pick up the airport transfer driver was super helpful and gave great suggestions on things to do. At check in it was super smooth and we were luckily upgraded! The Kia Sportage is an incredible car with all the modern features such as driver assist, lane control, cruise control and rear mirror camera.
