I prepaid for my vehicle through Auto Europe. When I got to the counter they charged me an additional 140$. I expected to pay an additional 60-70 because I am under 25. However, I got to the counter I was asked “do you want basic or premium insurance” I was in a rush and said basic but, I have auto insurance that covers rentals which means I needed neither. Overall, it took my bill from 126$ to 267$ - would’ve just rented through someone else. But, the shuttle driver was kind and the car was nice

When I picked up my car, the fuel gauge indicated full—the needle was aligned with the "F" mark. Before returning the car, I filled the tank until the pump automatically shut off. At that point, the fuel gauge needle was noticeably higher than it had been when I picked up the vehicle, indicating that I had added significantly more gas than was actually needed to return it to the same level at which I received it. I have used Ace in Bloomington several times in the past. Never a problem. Last time I filled the tank to the brim at a local station before returning. Couldn't take any more gas. I do that just to prevent what happened to me. Received a bill from them for $11.35, stating the tank was only "15/16" full. Said they had a picture of the guage. That's pretty damn precise. Obviously, will never use them again. The $11.35 isn't the issue. It's the gouging.

Nasty people that try to push you into buying insurance. No useful customer service.

Great van rental, clean well maintained. Easy to pick up and return. Friendly & helpful staff.
