Amazing spot. Place for swimming in the river
First time rafter. My husband and daughter and I had the pleasure of having Scotty O as our tour guide! Decades of experience. War vet, and jokester!. Guides make of break an adventure and he totally made it! Go to ACE and request Scotty! Because of him, we’ve decided to go back next year! Side note, bridge walk..kind of underrated
We did the upper new river rafting adventure and it was perfect for our family with a 7 year old. We had plenty of guides with us which made us feel confident and safe. Hot lunch was served on the river and it was great. Highly recommend for beginners or anyone with younger kids.
We had a blast on our 1/2 day, lower new river raft adventure today. Check-in was a breeze, along with orientation/instruction, and finally to the river. Zach was our guide, and I think we would all agree that he did an excellent job guiding us down the river, safely, and with lots of fun rides through the rapids, great swimming opportunties, and a little history here and there. It really was a perfect afternoon. There were other companies to choose, and we were so pleased with our top-notch experience with ACE!
My first time white water rafting (husbands second time but it’s been a while!) and we had an amazing time!! Finding the facility was really easy, and getting geared up into the water was as smooth and quick as it could’ve been. I would 100% recommend and also would love to return myself! Our guide was Reed and he was awesome :) pointed out a lot of cool things along the river on the way and had a lot of good conversation
