My 8 year old son has been asking to try windsurfing for some time now. We reached out to Roy over at Ace and he responded to my texts promptly. We got my son booked and Roy provided all the equipment, even water shoes. Roy was patient and encouraging. My son got the hang of it and now can’t wait to go back! We are very grateful for this special experience and look forward to booking another lesson with Roy!

I had an amazing windsurfing lesson and rental near Fort Myers—perfect for beginners! At Ace Performer (right by the Sanibel Causeway), the instructors were patient, experienced, and incredibly encouraging. We started with clear beach basics, then hit shallow water for hands-on practice. The gear was modern, stable, and well-maintained—easy to handle even as a newbie. I was so thankful to find Roy's shop when extending my week in the Fort Myers/Sanibel area. I was hoping to go windsurfing while I was in town and his shop was super convenient and full of rental gear. He helped me load the board on top of my rental car with pads and straps and 10 minutes later I was on the causeway beach rigging up. There were many other people out sailing so I was comfortable knowing there would be help if needed. He has kayaks and SUP gear as well so whatever water sports you are into, he has you covered.

Renting wing foiling gear from Roy was a great experience. We communicated via text and he was flexible on the date/time to meet up. His inventory is impressive and I loved the equipment I used. He had the Cabrinha board and wing size I was looking for paired with a high quality mast and foil. He recommended a great spot for wing foiling and prepared me for success. I will absolutely be renting from him again!
