This is a prime example of the shameless gatekeeping that goes on in the Canadian medical system, where doctors blindly protect their staff, and staff playing doctors , and everyone uses pathetic excuses to block patient care. It is disgusting that receptionists play God and deny phone appointments based on ridiculous directives when a patient has a genuine medical concern. I truly believe doctors in Canada do not care about their patients ..the system is broken
Highly recommend Dr. Jeffery Tong at ACE Health Care. He is very proactive in managing treatments and always keeps me informed. Great communication through their online portal and very efficient with coordinating tests and follow-up care.
Genuinely a waste of time and money. My doctor referred me here, and I ended up with a Dr. Wu back in January 2024. I never met this doctor, I only ever had 2 (maybe 3) phone appointments that last 10-20mins tops, which I’m sure they billed the full hour for. You would think a doctor who is a specialist for weight management would want to see their client in person; take some measurements? You know, the absolute minimum a doctor like this should be doing? Dr. Wali is good, he solves my hypertension. I used to take 3 pills, Dr. Wali replaces 2 of them with a new one, so my blood pressure goes down from (145-155)/(95-100) to 130/80. I am in the process of continue observation and adjustment if needed.
It is disgusting that receptionists act like god ,gatekeepers, and Doctor , denying a phone appointment based solely on Doctor Chen's October directive, which is patently ridiculous when you have a genuine question and concern you would like to discuss with a DOCTOR not a medical receptionists ,forcing you to look for another doctor ...Addresses the appalling medical system and people that have no care for patients ...
