Strolled into Proctor Ace Hardware (Jacksonville, University Blvd) hunting for picture-hanging toggles, and walked out feeling like I’d just snagged the golden ticket to Mount Wall-Art. The crew was helpful and I found the exact toggles I needed, and even learned something new—who knew drywall could sense desperation and respond? Local, cheerful, and stocked like a fast-food drive-thru at taco time—definitely my go-to hardware MVP
The garden section was amazing!!! And the employees are very helpful and nice.
Ace stores always have some interesting things. Add to that the garden center on this one and it's WILD. I've been stopping at this Ace for literal years. An odd lock, air filter, tools, pesticide... Kind of in and out without a lot of browsing but I stopped in just the other day with some time to kill and wondered into the garden center area and HOLY SMOKES that place has some plants. Great hardware store. Kind staff too.
I'm a die hard Stihl fan. Hands down the best from my point of view. I have to give a huge shout out to ANDREW the store manager here. Super knowledgeable and caring towards customers! He was so helpful with my situation. Also, while taking care of me I was able to see how he helped his employees, catered to customers that would walk up in the mist and all I can say is this is my new favorite location of Ace Hardwares!
