Just left here. Went to pick up an online order and the young girl behind the register with blond HAIR was VERY rude. You know I have NEVER received good service hear. Every time I come in I'm made to feel like I'm stupid, Wasting their time, Or don't know anything. I have lived in Villa Park for 5 years. It's sad that a town hardware store can't be bothered to make you feel like family. I WILL NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER RETURN!!!! Sad just sad
I am a villa park resident and today is the second time they turned me away because they close at 5. Both times is was not even 5 o'clock. I went in the store and asked for a cart so I could buy garden supplies from the parking lot and a guy followed my out and said sorry we are closed even after I was inside. I did take a minute to complain today and they could care less. So I will not be back. My family owns and operates a small family business for 35 years and this is not how you treat customers.

The young lady behind the check out counter Christina seemed put off to have to help customers. When my item didn't scan she slammed the scanner down and said " now I have to walk back there" . I wasn't made to feel like my business was welcomed.
Night before Thanksgiving doing some holiday shopping, and Christina was not very friendly at the check-out counter. She seemed prejudice. Maybe because it’s a predominately white neighborhood, they are not used to seeing many Hispanics shoppers or seem to think we’re all crooks. I was trying to show her something on a tool set I purchased by pointing at it and she rudely pushed my hand out of the way, not necessary and uncalled for.
