I just moved to Maricopa several months ago. I always try to go to Ace before I go to the big competitor hardware stores. Every time I have gone in there, I have been greeted with a warm hello from the cashier. I try to find things on my own, but sometimes I need help. Dell has been an amazing help to me. Very friendly and knowledgeable. There’s another man that has helped me, but I did not get his name. They will always get my business. I much prefer the small town, Ace hardware stores. I was having some issues getting a good copy of a rare mail key for a rental that I manage. After testing out the keys I received, they did not even fit in the hole. I drove 15 min to go to ACE and was helped out by Del and Lindsey. They took the time to listen to my explanation of what was happening, analyzed the keys, and came up with a plan to get the keys cut properly. Helpful, knowledgeable and Available people to assist you in your search. I've been shopping at this store for 16 yrs and that's always been true. Last week when I explained my problem was my security door handle kept falling off an employee told me what was likely wrong and how to fix it (I had a pushed-in set-screw, pulled it out with a tiny Allen wrench Voila!). HD & Lowe's have big stores, Ace has what you need with a human touch. (maybe I should write ads, lol)
