i brought in a bolt and asked the employees how i can find the size of the bolt i was looking for, instead i was shown, where the bolts are and a board to test the bolts, i wasn’t sure how to find the right size or how to measure and when i asked for help i was only shown a board, and oversized bolts, the employees were friendly they just didn’t seem to want to help, and just show me how to get bolts
Love our Ace Hardware! There are a few regular employees and they’re always nice and helpful. As a woman, I am treated as though I know what I’m talking about or wanting, until I make it clear I don’t know something, which is refreshing. 😁 There have been a couple of high school kids they’ve hired over the years (both of whose names start with J - not going to list them by name because I don’t have permission, but if they read this they’ll know who they are 😉) who have been amazing! The worst customer service! I think the young man who I had the immense displeasure of dealing with was named Malaki? He was so rude, and not just to me but the other employees as well. Serious power trip and completely unfriendly!
The staff made no attempt to help whatsoever. They both said to just go look.
