Took me twice going to this store to learn my lesson. I have determined that customer service is not their strong point. I live app 50 miles from this store, so my husband called first to see if they had the lawnmower part we needed and get a price quote. We were told they had the part and quoted a price. Was told the part would be on the counter when we arrived, with our name on it. We get there, they tell my husband a price at 50 dollars higher than the quote. And tell him basically he is lying. Bought a Toro lawnmower less than a month ago. First one was defective. Brought it back. Second one was defective (same problem). Now have a bad taste in my mouth and asked for a refund. Ace says "NO. Once the unit has gas inside it we don't give refunds." That seems just swell because I don't know how You TEST a lawnmower WITHOUT putting gas in it. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE-POOR QUALITY CONTROL
I had received a shipment for a patio set that only included the chairs and a shipping label was covering the 1 out of 2 designation. My pregnant wife had signed for the package assuming the picture on the side was accurate. As it turns out it was only the chairs and since we didn't reach out within the fast timeframe Ace customer service is unable to assist. Abysmal at best. Every time, and I mean every time, I try and use a rewards discount it's the same story: "sorry that item is on sale" for measly $1 off or something "and we can't use your discount, or "that item is not eligible for a discount". And I mean every time! I spend a lot of money there, or used to that is, and the manager is unwilling to apply my "rewards" discount. Some "reward" huh Ace? Stopped in to buy some paint. CLERK didnt know anything about paint not helpful not courteous didnt know nothing
I drove 20 minutes to pickup an order based on curbside pickup, when I arrived they refused to bring our. I called a manager who did not care that I could not enter the store because of the covid crisis, she did not care. She said her website did not offer curbside pickup, but I placed the order on the ACE website that does. She still did not care. Note that here on Yelp curbside pickup is offered. Do not do business with!
I bought over 60 dollars of sockets there. He gave me two the wrong size. When I went back to exchange them he told me all sales were final and no exchanges. He gave me the wrong sizes and I was told because of cornora virus no exchange. It was just BS the guy is a rip off artist. I will bet the items I received were never cleaned for cornora virus. Lied to by Scott and Ace hardware corporate office false advertising in there Christmas sales ad . This company is not a worthy company to deal with. Poor customer service and customer satisfaction. Paid for 3 - 224pc craftsman tool sets for Christmas gifts for my sons and now on January 10th they are claiming that the tool kits are discontinued and want to upgrade me to a 216 pc set.
