If you are really stuck and you really need to get a job done and you simply can not wait to go to Home Depot or to Lowes, Ace may indeed be your place. However, expect to be ripped off and overcharged. Today, I paid $2.99 each for two 7/8" diameter, common hose clamps that sell elsewhere for $1.50-$1.75 each. Next time I need hardware, I really need to stop and ask myself, "Can this wait? Do I really want to knowingly be screw--d over and taken advantage of?" Really? Probably not!
As a local landscaper and handyman I rely on ace to have common parts. Ace should change their name to Ace ornamental! They seem to care more about yard art and gifts than hardware. Once again your store has failed me. I stopped by to get supplies for a big irrigation project for my customer. You don't have a end cap for .700 irrigation tubing. That is pathetic considering its the most common size. You have em for .710 but not .700
Great store! Most of the staff here is very friendly and helpful. My daughter loves going in there because of the train. I love it because they have cute knick knacks that are very well priced! My husband loves it because he is a man. It's very close to where we live which makes it excellent! PROS: Good location for eastside, good prices. CONS: Not all employees are knowedgeable, but most are!
