My ****** review:***** is right beside my neighborhood, which is about 3 minutes drivings away. The handy man took more than an full hour to buy the hardware he needed, which are some screwz and nails. And the hourly rate is 125, it is easy money for them. The experience is a robbery. I will not recommend ACE handymen to anybody, even my worst enemy. Terry and his team from Ace Handyman Services in Grand Rapids did work on several projects at my home in Caledonia. He and his team did an excellent job in all respects. They are very honest and trustworthy and will do what it takes to get the job done correctly. Very easy to work with on a variety of projects including electrical, putting up vinyl siding pieces, replacing parts of my deck, fixing gates on my deck, and dry walling which included sanding. On May 12, 2022, I paid Ace Handyman service $1227.40 (parts and labor) for the installation of a stove vent at my home. The gas was turned off for the day so we bought take out meals. The work was performed by Junior ace handyman Sabian and senior ace handyman ** known as Bear. After I was unable to use my stove the next morning, I called Ace handyman service to report the issue. Not worth your time or money. We connected with this franchise to tackle a long list of tasks prior to our moving into our house. After being assured that the list was not too long if we added a second day, we agreed. After the handyman was at our house for 13 hours, spread over two days, he completed two tasks, left one not completed and as it was a guard rail, in an unsafe condition, and a front door with smeared paint. Finding ACE-handyman has been a godsend. ***** is fantastic. He installed 3 ceiling fans, fixed a leaking bathtub, repaired storm damage to a ceiling, and repaired three large windows in an incredibly short period of time. He shows great initiative and is a pleasure to work with.
I had three jobs to be done. I purchased a 4 hour package which the scheduler said was adequate. Paint a bedroom with no furniture. Install an exhaust fan in the bathroom and mount a ** in the Family Room. The ** took over 3 hours to complete. The tech had no desire to paint in fact stated that he is not a painter (so why did you send him)? The exhaust fan I was told that it was very hard to install and not for a remodel.
