Dr. K is a breath of fresh air! After struggling with my hormones, I went to my OB who completely dismissed my concerns. Dr. K was warm, approachable and knowledgeable. She is a great example of how doctors should treat their patients.
Easily the BEST doctor I have ever been to. She takes her time with you and gives patients autonomy to make decisions about treatment plans. Couldn't recommend her enough!
BE VERY VERY CAREFUL!!!!! Would give a 0 if I could I strongly warn anyone considering this practice. After multiple negative tests for Cushing’s disease, Dr. Kargutkar still insisted I had it and prescribed Korlym, a very high-risk medication. She never properly monitored my potassium or responded to repeated calls when my health declined. Within months, I suffered severe hypokalemia (critically low potassium), collapsed overseas, spent days in the ICU, had a cardiac event, and woke up with a pic line in my neck and a cathe... read more
