I replaced the cracked rear refractory panel in this factory built fireplace. I had to remove one of the refractory panels from the floor as well as the left side refractory panel in order to remove and replace the rear panel. The outside combustion air vent is visible on the rear wall of the fireplace when the refractory panel is removed.
This is a Quadrafire wood burning fireplace insert that I installed with a stainless steel chimney lining system.
First time using Ace Chimney Sweep also first time I've ever owned a house with a wood burning stove. After 5 months of living in the new cabin, We had smoke and ash coming into our cabin from the stove pipes when we burned it so bad it was burning my wife's eyes. When we called Fred he came out quickly even when snow was predicted. He thoroughly explained everything he was doing and proceeded to complete his work in a timely and professional matter. He was very courteous, I would highly recommend his services to everyone.
