ZERO STARS. The Village of Oregon recently contracted with Accurate Appraisal (AA) for property assessments. My home's assessed value was increased by over $130,000—despite no improvements being made since I purchased it three years ago. Notably, no one from AA physically inspected the property. ZERO STARS. SCAMMERS! Village of Oregon decided to use AA for property value assessments. They increased my value over 100k without ever stepping foot on my property. I have not made any improvements since purchasing our home 3 years ago. We disputed it and within a day they dropped it by 40k. They don't actually do any work trying to assess anything. The Pierce and St. Croix County line splits my property. My property was assessed as if it occupied both counties individually. My neighbor across the street has the EXACT SAME house and is assessed 1,500 sq. ft. and $140,000 less than my house. When I contacted the representative for Accurate Assessor to make my concerns known they said they would flag the assessment for review and to fix.
