One star because I can’t leave less. Horrible customer service. I have made 6 calls & still do not have my injectable med. The 4th call I was told someone would call me back, waited 2 weeks, still no phone call back. I called today. Was told my portion was $994. Excuse me, I have 2 insurances + a copay card. I NEVER had issues with Optum specialty & knew exactly what I owed when the medicine shipped, I wish they were still my primary pharmacy. Because i changed my advantage plan, I had to change my specialty Pharmacy for the generic Stelara injection. My shot was do Jan. 6th. It is now Feb. 6th and I have still not received my shot. after 3 phone calls with Accredo, setting up the online account, setting up a co-pay assistance account, nothing has been shipped to my. This pharmacy that I am FORCED to use due to my insurance is letting me go without my medication because a billing issue on their end. To make matters worse they spoke with the manufacturer who guaranteed to pay it at 100% within 7 days and they still will not fill it. EVERY TIME I have to deal with them it is an issue they have created and yet I am the one who does not get my medication.
There is a class action lawsuit against this pharmacy. Get involved. This place is a danger to patients. The insurance companies also need to be held accountable for forcing the use of this horrible pharmacy. It's not too big to fail.
Accredo Pharmacy has shown a shocking level of incompetence and indifference. My minor child was due for a critical medication yesterday, a medication she needs to manage a serious chronic illness and prevent pain and complications. As of today, Accredo cannot even provide a delivery date. Let that sink in. A child is left in pain and at risk because this pharmacy cannot manage its own processes.
