Wasted my time. Got to my appointment and nobody told me until halfway through my appointment that they won’t do my taxes because I purchased crypto currency in 2025. The scheduling team and tax preparer didn’t tell me beforehand.
I've been filing my taxes with this organization for a few years now, so I already had trust in them being reputable, affordable, accurate, and in the neighborhood. What I want to highlight in this review is the appointment hotline! I had to reschedule an appointment (and thought it was going to be an entire process due to past experiences with completely separate hotlines). This organization is completely unprofessional and should not be trusted. The staff show no empathy or sympathy — instead of helping, they make faces, laugh, and play games while people seek assistance. I personally witnessed a senior citizen yelling in frustration because the staff were joking around instead of providing help. The IRS advised me to file my taxes by paper, which led me to assume this service was part of the library.
