I was put on a wait list for a new physician here in December or November of 2024. I've been experiencing some discrimination from my current physician and was looking to switch to someone who I felt more comfortable and safe with. After almost 6 months of waiting I was scheduled for an onboarding appointment in which they told me that they wanted to prioritize patients that didn't already have a physician. Dr Vatts is awesome. Best doctor, professional and to the point.
After a wasp sting had gone terribly wrong, and after discovering there really are no walk in clinics left around the area I took a chance and walked into accord medical. The receptionist was super helpful and friendly and they were able to get me in within an hour (I left for a coffee and came back which was no problem, as the next option was a giant hospital wait). When my previous doctor left Sherwood Park, I tried to arrange an appointment at other clinics. I was able to see Dr. Vatts immediately as a walk-in client, and again very soon after joining a waiting list. He was more than excellent; he even took the time to introduce me to the pharmacist next door. My prescription renewals used to be a nightmare; now they are quick and easy.
