Crab pot apartment - Fair accom at budget end of the spectrum. Booked at short notice and it was adequate. However, collecting the key was not convenient as it was well out of Airlie Beach, the apartment location looks close to the town centre but the access is convoluted and up hill as you walk along a major culvert to a bridge. A miserly 2 teabags provided for 3 nights. Chaired lined up in front of TV like a theatre - not very homely ir social. But prob great for backpackers (maybe). Great view and very nice apartment. One issue I have is cleaning products, you get a watered down bottle of dishwashing liquid. For the price I pay you can surely provide a $3 bottle of dishwashing liquid. Also there is a sign that says I need to clean the BBQ, but there are no cleaning utensils. No steel brush, no wipes, no rags.
We had a wonderful stay in Airlie Beach. The hosts were super reponsive and very easy to communicate with.
The House was more then we could’ve asked for .. Accom was great nothing was an issue portacot provided pool was sparkling clean would definitely stay here again !
