I called to make an appointment at 4:40 PM, but they put me on hold until 5:00 PM—then they just closed. Very frustrating experience.
my 94 year old mom has been a patient there for years, and when she first started going it was an excellent facility. Of late, their phone system is ridiculous. It is almost impossible to get through, because of "high volumes" or being disconnected. If you do get through to the receptionist, you are put on hold yet again. We needed a follow up appointment after a course of antibiotics, and it was important for her to be seen to determine if it needed to be extended. They always been good to my baby and I. Public home nurse we got from here too is and always was amazing.
As a disabilities advocate, I am appalled at the service I've been receiving. Within a matter of days my seizure medication will run out. My pharmacy is still waiting for my nurse practitioner to "renew" my prescription. This is a medication which I've been taking for years. The Shoppers Drug Mart on Henderson Hwy. has faxed the Access Centre twice. I have called. I even dropped by twice. The SDM is still waiting to hear from the Access Centre.
