Access Optical I was assisted by a lovely young woman named Krissy. She explained the insurance quagmire to me in easily understandable terms. She helped me pick out beautiful frames and now I get complimented all the time. I was so nervous about getting glasses for the first time at my age, (52) but she walked me through the entire process with patience. Such great personal service. 0stars Did these people shop at the same store>?????The Jared fellow pleasant enough. His co-workers should take some pointers.Rude boy on the phone annoyed that customers come in to interrupt him. One lovely Dr. personable , dedicated and professional, the supposed savvy sales staff is just that, 1 Dr. and 5 cheesy sleazy sales method people who practically say "cha -ching" [old cash register sound...."] out loud every 5 minutes. Access Optical in Merrick on Merrick RD.....The doctor had a great manner. But the staff was pushy and very dismissive. When I questioned the accuracy of my prescription when my new glasses came in ,because I genuinely believed it did not change and the new prescription was worse, I was told to "get used to it" and "to come back and figure it out." They wouldn't return to the prescription that worked for me all these years. I'll be taking my business elsewhere; it's insensitivity like this that make an experience a dishear... read more

My son and I have been going to access for years.. Evan.. Dr and Sherry are so professional and friendly. They go above and beyond to make sure that we are happy and get exactly what we need. If they don't have the glasses or color in stocks they order it and I've never waited more than three days although they usually say a week. I would recommend them to one and all.. High class professionals I love these guys.
