I’ve been seeing Dr Nimer for many years.I was having shortness of breath and constantly tired/sleeping. It ended up being blockages ……I now have 2 stents and am back to normal. He is a great physician.Caring and very knowledgeable! He figures out the problem! Staff is super helpful & accommodating……very pleasant practice.
Dr Nimer is very tentative, seems to care, wanting figure out what is ur issue. Saved my life while in emergency room having a heart attack & they wanted to send me home, he was the one who knew what to do.
I am very unhappy with this practice. Dr Nimer on November 20,2024 performed a groin stent for 95% blockage. I have an autoimmune disease that causes bleeding with many meds including the blood thinners and aspirin required after this surgery. I called 12/22 to express concern about excessive bleeding and was told they had no providers there and my follow up was 12/30/24. Told me call my primary. I found him rude (to the point of being verbally abusive) and uncaring both times I saw him. I found a new cardiologist who was willing to listen, care about my heart health and who, I believe, is more up to date with current treatment protocols.
Very nice doctor but not progressive in anyway. His treatment plans towards patients is very generic and archaic. My father who is in his late 50’s was seen by him after having a heart Cath w/ stents in the LAD. Me myself working for a group of cardiologist in pasco county would have preferred he went to another doctor but due to him living in Hernando and the situation being an emergency he was attended by Nimer in Oakhill.
