I paid $500 Ernest down for my house and was told by Ken I would get it back at closing. When we closed on our house I asked the title clerk where my Ernest money was and was told she didn’t receive anything (a check)from Ken and I would have to get it from Ken. I called several times and never heard back until I received an email from Acceptance Capital that I needed to re sign my purchase offer and it had been altered showing a $500 increase of my offer price.
