I had a problem with thermal expansion and galvanic/corrosion-related seizure on my caliper bolts. I erroneously attributed it to cross-threading by the mechanics at NTB (currently composing an apology/retraction). They removed the bolt and rebuilt the threads on the hub for under $700 in parts and labor. Brought my 2019 Golf GTI in for walnut blasting and a brake flush. John and his team did an excellent job, they even included before and after photos of the valves so I could see the difference the walnut blasting made.
Cannot be trusted particularly in the way the owner (John) structures his charges for labor and possibly parts. I took my car for a minor issue related to slight rough start in the mornings. After charging me $432 (2.5 hours) for merely checking the fuel injectors, which typically takes less that an hour, he recommended replacing them at a cost totalling $1378 (4 hours labor plus parts) on top of the $432.
