Loggers suite was perfect for a solo travel. Walls/doors are thin, so I can see how it might be a problem if neighboring travelers aren't considerate, but my stay was quiet and peaceful!
We stayed in The Logger Suite, very nice, great location, great price.
We stayed in the Explorer's Suite for our short honeymoon. This place gets a 5 for ambience, and a 5 for location. It's just a few blocks away from the ferry, the grocery store, and all the restaurants downtown, so we mostly walked everywhere. It is a gorgeous, thoughtfully restored Craftsman living room that has been converted to a rental unit. The big downer for us was that in such a nice room they put such a cheap and uncomfortable bed. This was a wonderful place to stay. The price was great and the location was perfect. It's just a short walk to the shops and ferry. Definitely don't need a car unless you want to explore the rest of the island. Plenty of parking. Not a wheelchair friendly place but if you can handle a few steps it's great. Parking in back is gravel. Very cozy feeling inside and super clean. Plan to eat out unless you make microwave meals.
