Working with this Acadian Custom Shutters was the worst contractor experience we’ve ever had. We put down our deposit in January of 2024. Installation was complete on 11/28/24 (over 40 weeks later). That said, the two shutters on the front of the house are still not plumb/level. Monroe gave us many varied excuses for the delays in the job when he responded to us at all. We ordered three shades for our porch on May 12, 2020. When the installers arrived to install the three shades, they determined that one of the shades would not fit. At that time we were told another shade would have to be ordered. Weeks passed by before we received a call that they wanted to remeasure the space. After the remeasure, we were contacted weeks later to say they had to come out again to look at the space. Installer-Easy Breeze Patios FANTASTIC Price-FAIR Quality-GOOD Communication skills-SUCKS, I was quotes 4-6 weeks and waited nine without even one phone call. I left three messages without any response. I am happy to finally have the screened in patio I envisioned.
RecommendedWe recently obtained 4 different quotes for interior plantation shutters custom blinds and woven shades for our new home. These guys were amazing to work with from start to finish. We got their name from our builder, as they used Acadian for our custom shutters for the exterior. They are professional and aim to please. My quote says a 4-6 week lead time but I have been waiting 10 weeks and calling every week for the past 5 weeks and still don’t know when to expect my shutters. I went with Acadian which was more expensive than LAS because of the lead time...still no clear idea when they will be installed!

Great people, very helpful. They installed storm shutters all over and electric shutters on my covered back porch. Very happy with it all, the few issues that were discovered was resolved with no hassle. Would recommend.
