Ochsner ER arranged transport of patient to different facility. Family had been at ER since 11 a.m. ETA for transport 8:38 pm. Actual arrival 10:30 a.m. THE NEXT FN DAY. Firmly believe it’s a collaboration. Ochsner WINS BIG $$$$$$ The longer they keep the patient, the more profitable. Also used Acadian in 2019 for myself for a vertigo episode. Got a HUGE bill. Thanks Ochsner for calling these stupid people for an emergency transport. Didn’t find out till 2 years later that I’m in collections & it’s on my credit report that I owe them $1,300. They NEVER sent a bill. My insurance said that I shouldn’t be responsible for anything. Called several times & Acadian said there’s nothing they can do. Well time to get a lawyer then. Seeing the other reviews just helps my case even more.
