Our ride contained more excitement and learning than I would have ever thought we could experience doing something like this. Red provided a knowledgeable guide about the Bay Area and never failed to make us laugh while introducing our group to things like oysters, bioluminescence and the amazing sounds of the ocean and it’s animals at night.
This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! Red, the guide, was super smart, funny and supportive. If you haven’t gone a nighttime kayaking tour then you are missing an amazing experience. My son and I made some memories that we are sure to talk about for years to come.
Not our first time kayaking, but it was our first time sea kayaking and Red was a fantastic guide! We saw “Georgie” the bald eagle, his nest, beautiful scenery, a beautiful sunset, and my favorite…seals!! We saw several of them peek their heads out of the water to look at us, or even followed our kayak. Absolutely made my day!
Red was more than the perfect guide on the water we needed to begin our stay in Mt Desert/Acadia. Super friendly, connected and bonded in a soulful human level, and showed us and told us all of the facts and stories needed to become familiar with the water and lands. 11/10 would recommend! We’ll be back again when we visit down the road in life.
We had an outstanding experience with Red. He was very patient with us and was extremely knowledgeable about the area. Highly recommend!
