My wife and I were visiting Acadia for our 10-year anniversary, and we were so unbelievably excited to do a nighttime kayak with this company that had received such incredible reviews and was so kind when we spoke. Except it never happened. I got on the wait list in July and when I called to see how long the wait list was, I was told I was the very first to sign up and they were just setting up the tour schedule. We did a night tour and it was excellent. The guide was very knowledgable.
Red was amazing!!! He adjusted our time of departure to allow better weather and more enjoyable paddling. He told (interesting) story after story about the history, geology, wildlife, … and interest we had. He found so much wildlife for us and made it a long fun. All the rave reviews about him are true and correct. Book with him!!
Red is amazing! Very knowledgeable about wildlife and history while being entertaining. Hadley Point Beach is a great place to kayak.
I can't recommend this experience highly enough. The nighttime kayaking with Red was an incredible experience--seeing the stars and the Perseids, out on the water, listening to his great stories and vast knowledge. Highly, highly recommend. Absolutely worth the money. (Did it with two teenagers, and they had a great time, too.)
